We hope this note from the Aldrich Mansion finds everyone staying safe and healthy.
As we continue to navigate the Coronavirus (COVID-19), be assured our main concern is the health and safety of our visitors and employees. We continue to follow the guidelines and instructions from Governor Raimondo, the Rhode Island Department of Health, and the Diocese of Providence.
Governor Raimondo has stated there will be no large gatherings this summer and specifically mentioned weddings as being impacted if you are planning a reception of 50 or more guests in June or July.
Many of you with original dates in May, June, July, August, and September have already scheduled a back-up date. Since the Governor’s announcement regarding gatherings this summer, we are instructing all of you with events scheduled between May and September to have another back-up date planned or reschedule your event or wedding. We are strongly recommending that you choose a back-up date or rescheduling for 2021. Please contact Tony Maggiacomo, Event Coordinator to discuss your options.
We anticipate that even if the Governor eases restrictions for August and September, the number of people allowed to gather will probably not exceed 100 (this number may be too optimistic), and this may affect your planned reception.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and are as anxious as you to get back to business as usual, but everyone’s health is most important, and we should continue to practice social distancing as instructed.
The Aldrich Mansion staff looks forward to seeing you soon!
